Rose defeated Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout in less than three minutes in Round One. Rose was also named Fighter Of The Night and made history as it marked the first time women had ever competed in a tournament in a major promotional organization across the globe. Namajunas won several fights following the fight, and she was named Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
